RCG Academy (a division of RevCycleGenius) is committed to strict adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. Although our training operations are globally accessible, our infrastructure and training parameters are built to meet strict US security standards.

1. Business Associate Agreement (BAA) Readiness

As an extension of a B2B white-label agency, we stand ready to sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Covered Entities prior to the commencement of any backend operational work. We understand our liability and responsibilities regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).

2. Technical Safeguards in Training

• Mock Data: All students training on Live PMS systems (Practice Suite, Jane App) utilize specifically generated mock patient data. Absolutely no real PHI is exposed during the educational lifecycle.
• Secure Access: Our LMS and internal operations utilize secure, encrypted connections.
• Access Control: Unique user IDs are assigned to our staff and students; password sharing is strictly monitored and prohibited.

3. Physical & Administrative Safeguards

Our operation center in Pune, India restricts physical access to authorized personnel only. All team members, faculty, and enrolled students undergo mandatory HIPAA training to ensure a culture of absolute data security and privacy.
